1. How to Request Account Deletion

If you would like to delete your RONB account and the data associated with it, please follow these steps:

Send a deletion request via email
Email us at [email protected] with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".

Include your account details
In the email, include the name and email address associated with your RONB account so we can locate and verify your identity.

We verify and process your request
Our team will verify your identity and process the deletion. You will receive a confirmation email once your account and data have been deleted.

Deletion is completed within 30 days
Your request will be processed within 30 business days of receiving a verified request.

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:

Account information: Your name, email address, profile photo, and authentication credentials.
Profile data: Phone number, skills, work experience, and uploaded resume/CV.
Job applications: All job applications you have submitted through the platform.
Blood donation records: Any blood donation requests or donor registrations linked to your account.
Stories and submissions: User-generated stories, content submissions, and associated media.
Saved preferences: Bookmarks, notification preferences, calendar events, and personalized settings.
Device tokens: Firebase push notification tokens associated with your account.

Certain data may be retained after account deletion for the following reasons:

Anonymized analytics data: Aggregated, anonymized usage data that cannot be linked back to your identity may be retained to help us improve our Services.
Legal obligations: Data required to comply with applicable laws, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements may be retained for up to 90 days after deletion, after which it is permanently removed.
Backup systems: Residual copies of your data in encrypted backup systems are automatically purged within 90 days of account deletion.

This action is irreversible. Once your account is deleted, your data cannot be recovered. You will need to create a new account if you wish to use RONB again.
Active job applications: If you have active job applications, they will be withdrawn upon account deletion. Employers who have already downloaded your application materials may still retain their copies.
Public content: Content you have posted publicly (e.g., stories that were shared by other users) may persist in other users' feeds or caches but will no longer be attributed to your account.
Third-party sign-in: Deleting your RONB account does not affect your Google account. You may also need to revoke RONB's access from your Google account settings separately.
